Parking lot striping: re-striping and new layouts

Clear striping organizes traffic, defines stalls and marks accessible parking. We re-stripe existing layouts and stripe new layouts.

Re-striping vs. a new layout

Re-striping traces the existing layout, typically after sealcoating, an overlay or simply when markings have faded. A new layout changes the arrangement — for a newly paved lot, a change in use, or to rework traffic flow and stall counts.

Accessible parking markings

Striping is where accessible parking becomes visible: marked stalls, access aisles and van-accessible spaces. Under the federal 2010 ADA Standards, at least one of every six accessible spaces must be van accessible, and access aisles must be at least 60 inches wide. See our ADA parking lot basics and ADA compliance services for more.
